Jeremy Musson

Advisor on traditional architects

Jeremy is the author of authoritative books on houses and their history—most recently The Drawing Room and The Country House Ideal—and is an adviser on conservation matters for historic houses.

‘I have always been very interested in the creative partnership between clients and architects: throughout history, it is this meeting of minds which makes for the most memorable houses,’ observes Jeremy.

He has also been an influential architecture editor of Country Life magazine, and a curator for the National Trust, as well as presenter and writer of the BBC TV’s highly popular Curious House Guest series.

He lives in Cambridge with his wife and two daughters.
