Advisor on interior designers
A highly-respected authority on interior design in the UK, Liz Elliot is Editor-at-Large for House & Garden. Originally trained as a fashion designer, she worked under Jean Muir for Jaeger and under Roland Klein at the design house of Marcel Fenez, in London. Her fashion career took her to Hong Kong, and she started her own company with Richard Knott, whom she joined again in the Nineties at Workers For Freedom.
Liz joined House & Garden in 1997, and since established herself as a guiding light of the magazine and of the entire interior-design world.
She lives in London and Gloucestershire with her writer husband and two daughters.
